Effective Date: August 14, 2026
Bluefin Data Strategy Limited ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways, including:
We use the information we collect to:
We may share your information in the following situations:
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
If you are in the UK and you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would ask that you contact us first so we have the chance to put things right.
You can delete your EasyTeam account at any time. In the app, open your profile (the person icon in the header) and choose Delete Account; you can also request deletion at our account deletion page. Deletion is immediate and removes your personal data (name, email address, phone number). For legal and accounting reasons we retain anonymised subscription and transaction records, which no longer identify you. See the account deletion page for full details.
Our website may use cookies to enhance user experience. You can choose to disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect website functionality.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites.
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the effective date.
Separately from the information described above, we collect business contact details for sports clubs — typically the club's name, website, general location, and a published contact address such as secretary@ or info@ — in order to introduce EasyTeam to clubs that may find it useful.
Where we get it. We collect this information only from publicly accessible sources: a club's own published contact page, a governing body's public club directory, OpenStreetMap, or a public register such as the Charity Commission register. When we first contact a club, we tell them in that message which source their address came from and on what date.
Why we use it, and on what basis. We use it solely to make an initial approach about EasyTeam. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — our interest in offering a club management product to clubs likely to benefit from it, balanced against the limited intrusion of a single business email sent to a published club address. We do not use this information for any other purpose, and we do not sell, licence or otherwise share it for others' marketing.
Who we share it with. Our email provider, Google Workspace (provided by Google Ireland Limited), which handles the message on our instructions. Google may process this information outside the UK; where it does, the transfer is covered by the UK Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in Google's data processing terms. There are no other recipients.
How long we keep it. If a club does not respond, we delete their details within 12 months of collection. If a club asks not to be contacted again, we keep the email address on a suppression list indefinitely for the sole purpose of ensuring we do not contact them again; we use it for nothing else.
Your rights. You can object to this use at any time and we will stop — for direct marketing this is an absolute right, and you do not have to give a reason. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected, or have it deleted entirely. Email us at info@bluefindatastrategy.com and we will action it. The rights and complaint route in section 6 apply to this information as well.
